Each year, fall brings a flurry of new children’s titles to young readers and eager booksellers. This season’s list offers a wide range of books that keep kids turning the pages well beyond the holidays. Here’s just a small sample of what some of Canada’s best publishers have in store for Fall 2006….

In 101 Ways to Dance author Kathy Stinson writes about the one thing on every teen’s mind: sex. Published by Second Story Press, this collection of short stories delves into the emotional whirlwind of love, lust and longing. Each story views sexual desire and love from a different perspective, allowing readers to feel okay about their desires regardless of how they’re viewed by parents, friends or society. 101 Ways to Dance doesn’t aim to give answers to tough questions. Instead it offers something much more valuable: wisdom that teens will carry with them long after they’ve finished the last story in this great collection.
